Title: Renewable Energy to Support Energy Security

Abstract

Renewable energy plays an important role in supporting energy security through contributing to the protection and continued provision of energy services when a disruption occurs. Sources of disruption to energy services can be natural, technological, and human-caused - such as weather events, cyber-attacks, and global market disturbances. This fact sheet covers renewable energy actions to support energy security.
