Title: $$\nu_e$$ CC Event Identification Based on Shower Energy Profiles in LArTPCs

Abstract

• Neutrino oscillations → Neutrinos have mass. Insight into physics beyond the Standard Model. • Liquid Argon Time Projection Chamber (LArTPC): - Distinguish between $e^-$ and $$\gamma$$ electromagnetic showers. - Exceptional calorimetry and tracking capabilities. • Weak interaction: - Neutral current (NC): $$\nu_e \eta \to \nu_e \eta$$ - Charged current (CC): $$\nu_e \eta \to e^- p$$ • Goal: Identify and select $e^-$ showers to do $$\nu_e$$ CC analysis.
