This article summarizes the results of a survey of lighting professionals about the light levels in their homes, as measured at the eye. This should correspond better to estimates of light exposure for light and health concerns. It includes measurements of light exposure from interior and exterior light sources, as well as reading paper tasks, watching TV, and light exposure from cell phones and electronic tablets. The survey results are a pilot study to learn about actual light exposures at night in homes.
