Title: Beamline Extension for the Accelerator Applications Development and Demonstration at IARC

Abstract

IARC houses an electron particle accelerator, known as A2D2, for proof-of-principle demonstrations for industrial applications. It delivers 9 MeV electrons for various applications such as water treatment, food and medical sterilization, environmental remediation, and others. At the Illinois Accelerator Research Center, A2D2 requires additional beam quality for improved and enhanced applications.
