Keynote Address #2 - Scale-up of Chemical Looping Reactors: Practical Considerations and Design of Industrial Systems
Abstract
Chemical looping technology is advancing toward large pilot-scale demonstrations. When scaling chemical looping reactors and chemical looping system integrated with steam generation issues of fuel distribution, thermal integration and modular operation must be considered in addition to sparing philosophy. The keynote addressed discusses a number of scaling issues unique to chemical looping systems.
