2019 CSP Lifetime data CESL015 DE-EE0001556
- Oak Ridge National Lab. (ORNL), Oak Ridge, TN (United States)
Data set for project to model the lifetime of structural alloys in supercritical carbon dioxide at 700°-800°C. The mass change data is provided for oxidation in 500-h cycles and 10-h cycles in 0.1 and 30 MPa. After exposure, oxide thickness and depth of internal oxidation were measured at intervals from 1-10 kh. Four alloys were studied: Sanicro 25 (stainless steel) and Ni-based alloys 625, Haynes 282 and Inconel 740H.
