Title: Spin and chirality effects in antler-topology processes at high energy $${e^+e^-}$$ colliders

Abstract

We perform a model-independent investigation of spin and chirality correlation effects in the antler-topology processes e ⁺e ^-→P ⁺P ^-→(ℓ+D0)(ℓ-D¯0) at high-energy e ⁺e ^- colliders with polarized beams. Generally the production process e ⁺e ^-→P ⁺P ^- can occur not only through the s-channel exchange of vector bosons, V0 , including the neutral Standard Model (SM) gauge bosons, γ and Z, but also through the s- and t-channel exchanges of new neutral states, S0 and T0 , and the u-channel exchange of new doubly charged states, U-- . The general set of (non-chiral) three-point couplings of the new particles and leptons allowed in a renormalizable quantum field theory is considered. The general spin and chirality analysis is based on the threshold behavior of the excitation curves for P ⁺P ^- pair production in e ⁺e ^- collisions with longitudinal- and transverse-polarized beams, the angular distributions in the production process and also the production-decay angular correlations. In the first step, we present the observables in the helicity formalism. Subsequently, we show how a set of observables can be designed for determining the spins and chiral structures of the new particles without any model assumptions. We perform a model-independent investigation of spin and chirality correlation effects in the antler-topology processes e ⁺e ^-→P ⁺P ^-→(ℓ+D0)(ℓ-D¯0) at high-energy e ⁺e ^- colliders with polarized beams. Generally the production process e ⁺e ^-→P ⁺P ^- can occur not only through the s-channel exchange of vector bosons, V0 , including the neutral Standard Model (SM) gauge bosons, γ and Z, but also through the s- and t-channel exchanges of new neutral states, S0 and T0 , and the u-channel exchange of new doubly charged states, U-- . Measuring the Higgs-vector boson couplings at linear e{sup +}e{sup -} collider

We estimate the accuracy with which the coefficient of the CP even dimension-six operators involving Higgs and two vector bosons (HVV) can be measured at linear e{sup +}e{sup -} colliders. Using the optimal observables method for the kinematic distributions, our analysis is based on the five different processes. First is the WW fusion process in the t-channel (e{sup +}e{sup -}{yields}{nu}{sub e}{nu}{sub e}H), where we use the rapidity y and the transverse momentum p{sub T} of the Higgs boson as observables. Measurements of Z Z production in the ℓ ⁺ℓ ^-ℓ' ⁺ℓ ' ^- channel in proton–proton collisions at 13 TeV center-of-mass energy at the Large Hadron Collider are presented. The data correspond to 36.1 fb ^-1 of collisions collected by the ATLAS experiment in 2015 and 2016. Here ℓ and ℓ' stand for electrons or muons.
