Title: Key Ne 19 States Identified Affecting γ -Ray Emission from F 18 in Novae

Abstract

The (3He,t gamma) reaction was measured with a 19F target to inform synthesis of 18F in novae. The reaction tritons, measured with the Oak Ridge Rutgers University Barrel array, were detected in coincidence with gamma-rays, measured with Gammasphere. The uncertainty in predicted detection of 18F in novae was reduced.
