Shielding Guidelines for Secondary Bremsstrahlung at NSLS-II Beamlines with Mirror as the First Optical Element

There are beamlines at NSLS-II where a mirror with multiple coating is chosen as the first optical component. These mirrors are located either in the first optics enclosures (FOE) or at the front end inside the storage ring. The mirrors located in the first optics enclosures have shielding implications for the enclosures.
