Thermal Test Suite for Code Maintenance and Validation of Diablo

This document describes a series of test problems that ensure that the Thermal capabilities of Diablo are working correctly. Diablo utilizes the Finite Element Method to discretize the problem in space and a trapezoidal rule finite difference scheme to discretize the problem in time. This suite will test the codes capabilities to handle various boundary conditions, source terms, and initial conditions. It will also test the coupling between thermal and solid effects, and the use of various linear and nonlinear solvers.
