Title: The lithium–water configuration encapsulated by uranyl peroxide cage cluster U 24

Abstract

Lithium cations encapsulated within the U 24 nanocapsule are in square pyramidal and octahedral coordination environments imposed by the topology of the cluster, whereas lithium outside the cages are in a tetrahedral coordination environment.
