Title: Comparison of Bethe-Hole and GdfidL Calculations of the Horizontal Beam Impedance of a Long Slot

Abstract

We found total agreement between the GdfidL calculations and the theoretical Bethe-hole predictions. The horizontal impedance at low frequencies (for t > W/2) is found to be 4.5 Ω/m. This result will be included in the NSLS-II ring impedance budget.
