Title: EARLY OBSERVATIONS ON THE EXPERIMENTAL STUDY OF FLUID-STRUCTURE-INTERACTIONS WHILE TESTING PLATE-TYPE-FUEL

Abstract

This paper presents the methods, outcomes, and observations made from these early NQA-1 compliant flow tests, demonstrating a successful observation of plastic deformation of this plate-type fuel and a basis for its occurrence when compared against previous computational studies’ results.
