Title: AM Modeling & Simulation

Abstract

A predictive simulation capability for AM is important to improve quality, decrease processing time and minimize costs. Has significant impact as LANL continues to be a leader in modeling and simulation for AM. This improved simulation capability will allow important AM specific physics questions to be answered for the first time. This approach, in combination with LANL's HPC resources will enable tractable, predictive simulation of AM and other solidification processes.
