Title: U.S. Building Codes and Standards: Update on Changes

Abstract

Harnessing and adapting new technologies and research enables us to create a future where the built environment is healthier, more comfortable and more energy efficient, thus producing a more sustainable world. ASHRAE is able to make these contributions because of the dedication of our members, which currently is about 56,500 people globally, and that is a number we hope continues to grow. ASHRAE partners with many organizations to develop and implement impactful standards for maintaining and building a sustainable environment. These standards are designed to help make buildings more efficient and to provide best practices and resources for industry professionals.
