Title: Structure and Dynamics of Materials Under Extreme Conditions- Final Report

Abstract

The goals for the work were to create and probe matter under extreme conditions using ultrafast optical and x-ray techniques. We measured electronic structure and plasma properties of warm and hot dense matter, and validate modeling and simulation codes, with a goal of understanding the static and dynamic properties of such materials.
