Title: The Characterization and Optimization of Lithium Hafnium Chloride Crystal Scintillators for Neutron Detection

Abstract

The idea behind scintillators is that once the crystal comes in contact with radiation, a reaction will happen that will induce the emittance of gamma rays in the form of visible light.
