VERA-CS User Support Activities for PoR 14

Abstract

The purpose of this milestone is to document the user support activities that took place between 10/1/2016 and 3/31/2017 (PoR 14). In the normal PHI workflow, that also extends to several activities within RTM, a Kanban process is followed. This involves creating tickets for specific work items and track the progress to complete these specific work items.

BS>Contaminatibn and Absorption of Sr/sup 90/ and Cs/sup 137/ by Prochilodus lineatus or platensis (sabalo) is studied. A contamination of its "habitat'' (Rio de la Plata) would create health problems because of the industrialization along the river and use of the water for purposes related to the biological cycle. The distribution of the elements in various organs and tissues of the fish was determined. The results were compared with those obtained by other workers. (J.S.R.)

VERA is a visualization tool for analyzing compiled executables. It is built on an OpenGL framework with the wxWidgets package. The current version is only for use with the Windows XP and higher operating system. This manual will detail the steps that are needed to run and analyze a sample of malware. VERA is meant to be used in conjunction with the Ether hypervisor framework. Ether is a set of patches made to the Xen hypervisor that allows for covert analysis of running processes. The MPACT (Michigan PArallel Charactistics based Transport) code is designed to perform high-fidelity light water reactor (LWR) analysis using whole-core pin-resolved neutron transport calculations on modern parallel-computing hardware. The code consists of several libraries which provide the functionality necessary to solve steady-state eigenvalue problems. Several transport capabilities are available within MPACT including both 2-D and 3-D Method of Characteristics (MOC). A three-dimensional whole core solution based on the 2D-1D solution method provides the capability for full core depletion calculations.
