Title: Radioactive pollution of water. (Latest citations from the INSPEC: Information services for the physics and engineering communities database). Published Search

Abstract

The bibliography contains citations concerning the contamination of lakes, rivers, groundwater, oceans, and precipitation by radioactive wastes. Fallout, leaching, water solubility of isotopes, and transfer of radioisotopes through the food chain are among the topics discussed. Oceans, seas, rivers, and reservoirs worldwide are evaluated for radioactive pollution. Radioactive pollution entering the food chain through contaminated water is also considered. (Contains 250 citations and includes a subject term index and title list.)
