Title: In situ synthesis, crystallisation, and thin-film processing of single crystals of trans-[Ru(SO 2 )(NH 3 ) 4 (H 2 O)][p-TolSO 3 ] 2 bearing SO 2 linkage photo-isomers: towards optical device applications

Abstract

High-quality microcrystals oftrans-[Ru(SO 2)(NH 3) 4(H 2O)][p-TolSO 3] 2photoisomers are embedded within thin films of polyvinylacrylate, which presents opportunities for optical data storage applications.
