NIKE3D. Static & Dynamic Response of 3D Solids
- Lawrence Livermore National Lab., CA (United States)
NIKE3D is a vectorized, fully implicit, three dimensional, finite element program for analyzing the finite strain, static and dynamic response of inelastic solids, shells, and beams. Capabilities currently available include sliding interfaces, body force loads due to base acceleration, body force loads due to spinning (geometry dependent), concentrated nodal loads, pressure boundary conditions (geometry dependent), displacement boundary conditions, thermal stresses, plotfile generation, and problem restart. Elastic, orthotropic elastic, elastic-plastic, thermo-elastic-plastic, soil and crushable foam, linear viscoelastic, thermo-orthotropic elastic, and thermo-elastic-creep material models are implemented.
