$$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 4 superconformal bootstrap of the K _{3} CFT
Abstract
We study twodimensional (4; 4) superconformal eld theories of central charge c = 6, corresponding to nonlinear sigma models on K3 surfaces, using the superconformal bootstrap. This is made possible through a surprising relation between the BPS N = 4 superconformal blocks with c = 6 and bosonic Virasoro conformal blocks with c = 28, and an exact result on the moduli dependence of a certain integrated BPS 4point function. Nontrivial bounds on the nonBPS spectrum in the K3 CFT are obtained as functions of the CFT moduli, that interpolate between the free orbifold points and singular CFT points. We observe directly from the CFT perspective the signature of a continuous spectrum above a gap at the singular moduli, and fi nd numerically an upper bound on this gap that is saturated by the A1 N = 4 cigar CFT. We also derive an analytic upper bound on the fi rst nonzero eigenvalue of the scalar Laplacian on K3 in the large volume regime, that depends on the K3 moduli data. As two byproducts, we find an exact equivalence between a class of BPS N = 2 superconformal blocks and Virasoro conformal blocks in two dimensions, and an upper boundmore »

We perform a general analysis of representations of the superconformal algebras OSp(8/4, R) and OSp(8{sup *}/2N) in harmonic superspace. We present a construction of their highestweight UIR's by multiplication of the different types of massless conformal superfields (''supersingletons''). In particular, all ''short multiplets'' are classified. Representations undergoing shortening have ''protected dimension'' and may correspond to BPS states in the dual supergravity theory in antide Sitter space. These results are relevant for the classification of multitrace operators in boundary conformally invariant theories as well as for the classification of AdS black holes preserving different fractions of supersymmetry.

Minimal unitary representation of 5d superconformal algebra F(4) and AdS _{6}/CFT _{5} higher spin (super)algebras
We study the minimal unitary representation (minrep) of SO(5, 2), obtained by quantization of its geometric quasiconformal action, its deformations and supersymmetric extensions. The minrep of SO(5, 2) describes a massless conformal scalar field in five dimensions and admits a unique “deformation” which describes a massless conformal spinor. Scalar and spinor minreps of SO(5, 2) are the 5d analogs of Dirac’s singletons of SO(3, 2). We then construct the minimal unitary representation of the unique 5d superconformal algebra F(4) with the even subalgebra SO(5, 2) ×SU(2). The minrep of F(4) describes a massless conformal supermultiplet consisting of two scalar andmore »Cited by 1
