Title: Non-RF Chain of Custody Item Monitor (CoCIM) User Manual.

Abstract

This User Manual contains a description of the wired and infrared (IR) variants of the Chain of Custody Item Monitor (CoCIM), the Coordinator for reading stored messages, and the inspector Message Viewer user interface (UI) software, as well as instructions for use. This manual does not include descriptions or use instructions for the radio frequency (RF) variant of the CoCIM. The intended audience is planners and participants in treaty verification exercises where chain of custody (CoC) elements are required.

  • The CoCIM Message Viewer software allows users to connect to and download messages from a Chain of Custody Item Monitor (CoCIM) connected to a serial port on the user’s computer. The downloaded messages are authenticated and displayed in a Graphical User Interface that allows the user a limited degree of sorting and filtering of the downloaded messages as well as the ability to save downloaded files or to open previously downloaded message history files.
  • Chemicals and radionuclides move either in the gas-phase, liquid-phase, or both phases in soils. They may be acted upon by either biological or abiotic processes through advection and/or diffusion. Furthermore, parent and daughter radionuclides may decay as they are transported in the soil.   • The objective of the Program Maintenance Manual for the DMSP SSIES flight data processing software is to provide AFSFC programming personnel with the information necessary to understand and maintain the various components of the system. This software has been specifically developed to process the SSIES-2 and SSIES-2A data formats, with provisions for retroactive adaptation to the original SSIES format and future adaptation to the SSIES-3 format. This Program Maintenance Manual describes the three programs which constitute the AFSFC SSIES processing system: BNBA, LDCON02 and APGA. The BNBA program performs data format conversions for the various SSIES telemetry data formats tomore » generate a common file format for subsequent processing by the APGA program. The LDCONO2 program generates the reference parameter file of satellite and instrument conversion constants and processing options for use by the APGA program. The APGA program performs quality evaluations and analyses of the SSIES telemetry data to create database files and reports of quantities which characterize the ionosphere.« less
  • This document details information on the low-level radio frequency (LLRF) software control package. The chapters in this manual cover the following topics: Chapter one describes the general operating principles of the LabVIEW software package, and also discusses the high-level menu panels which allow access to the individual control panels. Chapter two covers the control panels used for conditioning the cavity, and for controlling the accelerator under normal operating conditions. Chapter three provides information on the resonance detection and reflectometer calibration function, including the setup and status panels for each. Chapter four contain instructions on the use of those panels dedicatedmore » to controlling the cavity RF field. Chapter five discusses the control panels that provide setup and status information on the diagnostic monitor subsystem. Chapter six outlines those panels used to control the timing functions provided by the LLRF system. Finally, chapter seven describes the control panels used to monitor and adjust the alarm and limit functions of the system.   • This manual documents the input requirements, execution procedures and output for the unverified prototype of DEWFALL and its postprocessor, DEWPOST. It also describes the purpose and limitations of the software, the physical model that underlies it, and the rationale for the physical model. Instructions for installing and maintaining the software are also included in this manual. It is addressed to users at the developing organization, Science and Engineering Associates, Inc., (SEA), and at the sponsoring organization, Los Alamos National Laboratories (LANL).
