Analysis of the Changes in Graphite Properties Under Neutron Irradiation Due to Structural Changes

Analysis of data obtained on the two principal U.K. nuclear graphites, Pile Grade A and AGR moderator has shown that the component of property changes due to modifications to the structure, as distinct from changes in the crystal properties, depends only on the parameter XT. This note examines the application of this idea to H-451 and Graphnol 3M graphites, as a further test of the method.
