Title: Materials Data on PmIn3 by Materials Project

Abstract

PmIn3 is Uranium Silicide structured and crystallizes in the cubic Pm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Pm is bonded to twelve equivalent In atoms to form PmIn12 cuboctahedra that share corners with twelve equivalent PmIn12 cuboctahedra, edges with twenty-four equivalent InPm4In8 cuboctahedra, faces with six equivalent PmIn12 cuboctahedra, and faces with twelve equivalent InPm4In8 cuboctahedra. All Pm–In bond lengths are 3.33 Å. In is bonded to four equivalent Pm and eight equivalent In atoms to form distorted InPm4In8 cuboctahedra that share corners with twelve equivalent InPm4In8 cuboctahedra, edges with eight equivalent PmIn12 cuboctahedra, edges with sixteen equivalent InPm4In8 cuboctahedra, faces with four equivalent PmIn12 cuboctahedra, and faces with fourteen equivalent InPm4In8 cuboctahedra. All In–In bond lengths are 3.33 Å.
