Title: Materials Data on UH12(NO4)2 by Materials Project

Abstract

UH8(NO3)2(H2O)2 crystallizes in the triclinic P-1 space group. The structure is zero-dimensional and consists of two water molecules and one UH8(NO3)2 cluster. In the UH8(NO3)2 cluster, U6+ is bonded in a distorted linear geometry to four O2- atoms. There are two shorter (1.85 Å) and two longer (2.32 Å) U–O bond lengths. N1- is bonded in a distorted trigonal non-coplanar geometry to two H1+ and one O2- atom. Both N–H bond lengths are 1.03 Å. The N–O bond length is 1.42 Å. There are four inequivalent H1+ sites. In the first H1+ site, H1+ is bonded in a distorted single-bond geometry to two O2- atoms. There is one shorter (1.01 Å) and one longer (1.67 Å) H–O bond length. In the second H1+ site, H1+ is bonded in a distorted single-bond geometry to one O2- atom. The H–O bond length is 1.01 Å. In the third H1+ site, H1+ is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one N1- atom. In the fourth H1+ site, H1+ is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one N1- atom. There are three inequivalent O2- sites. In the first O2- site, O2- is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one U6+ atom. In the secondmore » O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 3-coordinate geometry to one U6+, one N1-, and one H1+ atom. In the third O2- site, O2- is bonded in a water-like geometry to two H1+ atoms.« less
