This study, conducted by R. W. Beck, was funded by the U.S. Trade and Development Agency. The report shows the results of load flow and short circuit studies for the Aguaytia power station. The studies were primarily conducted to compare the equipment, and transmission characteristics from the generation sites at Aguaytia and Neshuya. The short circuit studies were conducted to establish equipment interrupting ratings for the new power plant substations. This is Volume 1 of a two volume study. It is divided into the following sections: (1) Load Flow Studies; (2) Short Circuit Studies; (3) Recommendations. Attachments A-G follow.
