Title: Materials Data on K2Ca(CO3)2 by Materials Project

Dataset ·
DOI:https://doi.org/10.17188/1280887· OSTI ID:1280887

K2Ca(CO3)2 crystallizes in the trigonal R-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. K1+ is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to nine equivalent O2- atoms. There are six shorter (2.86 Å) and three longer (3.07 Å) K–O bond lengths. Ca2+ is bonded in an octahedral geometry to six equivalent O2- atoms. All Ca–O bond lengths are 2.34 Å. C4+ is bonded in a trigonal planar geometry to three equivalent O2- atoms. All C–O bond lengths are 1.30 Å. O2- is bonded in a 1-coordinate geometry to three equivalent K1+, one Ca2+, and one C4+ atom.
