Title: Room-temperature Ba(Fe1–xCox)2As2 is not tetragonal: Direct observation of magnetoelastic interactions in pnictide superconductors

In this study, using a local, real-space probe, aberration-corrected scanning transmission electron microscopy (STEM), we discovered room-temperature distortions in the crystal structure of the parent BaFe2As2 and superconducting Ba(Fe1-xCox)2As2 compounds never before reported.
