  • J/{psi} production has been measured in Au+Au and Cu+Cu at {radical}(s{sub NN})=200 GeV by the PHENIX experiment at the relativistic heavy ion collider (RHIC) during 2004 and 2005, respectively, at mid-rapidity (|{eta}|{le} 0.35) via J/{psi} {yields} e{sup +}e{sup -} decay and at forward rapidity (1.2 {le}|{eta}|{le} 2.2) via J/{psi} {yields} {mu}{sup +}{mu}{sup -} decay. The nuclear modification factor (RAA) of J/{psi} is presented as a function of the collision centrality for Au+Au collisions (final results) and Cu+Cu collisions (preliminary results) in both rapidity windows. These results are compared to SPS results at lower energy and to various theoretical calculations.
  • The J/{psi} is considered to be among the most important probes for the deconfined quark gluon plasma (QGP) created by relativistic heavy ion collisions. While the J/{psi} is thought to dissociate in the QGP by Debye color screening, there are competing effects from cold nuclear matter (CNM), feed-downs from excited charmonia ({chi}{sub c} and {psi}{prime}) and bottom quarks, and regeneration from uncorrelated charm quarks. Measurements that can provide information to disentangle these effects are presented in this paper.
  • We present a wide study on the comparison of different shadowing models and their influence on J/{psi} production. We have taken into account the possibility of different partonic processes for the c{bar c}-pair production. We notice that the effect of shadowing corrections on J/{psi} production clearly depends on the partonic process considered. Our results are compared to the available data on dAu collisions at RHIC energies. We try different break up cross section for each of the studied shadowing models.
  • CDF has obtained new results on quarkonium production in p{anti p} collisions at {radical}s = 1.8 TeV. The author reports on measurements of {Upsilon} meson production, {Upsilon}(1S) production from {chi}{sub b} feeddown, and the production polarization of {Upsilon}(1S), J/{psi} and {psi}(2S) mesons.
