Title: CoxC nanorod magnets: Highly magnetocrystalline anisotropy with lower Curie temperature for potential applications

Magnetic CoxC nanorods with larger magnetocrystalline anisotropy of 5 x 10(5) J/m(3) as well as larger coercivity and lower Curie temperature are introduced.
