Title: Materials Data on EuTl2 by Materials Project

Abstract

EuTl2 crystallizes in the hexagonal P6_3/mmc space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Eu is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to twelve equivalent Tl atoms. There are six shorter (3.41 Å) and six longer (3.83 Å) Eu–Tl bond lengths. Tl is bonded in a 10-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Eu and four equivalent Tl atoms. There are three shorter (3.08 Å) and one longer (3.29 Å) Tl–Tl bond lengths.
