Materials Data on HfPbO3 by Materials Project
PbHfO3 is (Cubic) Perovskite structured and crystallizes in the cubic Pm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Hf4+ is bonded to six equivalent O2- atoms to form HfO6 octahedra that share corners with six equivalent HfO6 octahedra and faces with eight equivalent PbO12 cuboctahedra. The corner-sharing octahedral tilt angles are 0°. All Hf–O bond lengths are 2.08 Å. Pb2+ is bonded to twelve equivalent O2- atoms to form PbO12 cuboctahedra that share corners with twelve equivalent PbO12 cuboctahedra, faces with six equivalent PbO12 cuboctahedra, and faces with eight equivalent HfO6 octahedra. All Pb–O bond lengths are 2.94 Å. O2- is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Hf4+ and four equivalent Pb2+ atoms.
