  • The current Tank Farm Contractor (TFC) for the U. S. Department of Energy, Office of River Protection (ORP), River Protection Project (RPP), CH2M Hill Hanford Group, Inc. (CHG), will use a computer based requirements management system. The system will serve as a tool to assist in identifying, capturing, and maintaining the Standards/Requirements Identification Document (S/RID) requirements and links to implementing procedures and other documents. By managing requirements as one integrated set, CHG will be able to carry out its mission more efficiently and effectively. CHG has chosen the Dynamic Object Oriented Requirements System (DOORS{trademark}) as the preferred computer based requirementsmore » management system. Accordingly, the S/RID program will use DOORS{trademark}. DOORS{trademark} will replace the Environmental Requirements Management Interface (ERMI) system as the tool for S/RID data management. The DOORS{trademark} S/RID test project currently resides on the DOORSTM test server. The S/RID project will be migrated to the DOORS{trademark} production server. After the migration the S/RID project will be considered a production project and will no longer reside on the test server.« less
  • A description and the design requirements for the 200 MWe (nominal) net output MHD Engineering Test Facility (ETF) Conceptual Design, are presented. Performance requirements for the plant are identified and process conditions are indicated at interface stations between the major systems comprising the plant. Also included are the description, functions, interfaces and requirements for each of these major systems. The lastest information (1980-1981) from the MHD technology program are integrated with elements of a conventional steam electric power generating plant.
  • This document provides a potential OTEC applicant with the insights believed needed to satisfy the environmental information requirements of the regulations for licensing commercial OTEC facilities and plantships. This information should be used by applicants to define the site-specific details of the needed environmental assessment, and the details should then form a basis for pre-application consultations on the environmental requirements.
  • This document provides the test plan and guidelines for the experimental evaluation of video transmissions of radiographs over the Remote Medical Diagnosis System (RMDS) advanced development model terminals. The objectives of this evaluation were (1) to determine which, if any, of the various operational modes of the RMDS ADM terminal would satisfy the image fidelity requirements for clinical diagnosis of video-transmitted radiographs and (2) to establish quantitative and qualitative values or relationships delineating the image fidelity requirements necessary for professional radiologists to make correct and confident diagnoses from video-transmitted radiographs.
