The Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL), which must provide space and housing for technical and support personnel of the Instrumentation and Controls (I&C) Division, is experiencing a serious space shortage. Currently, I&C personnel are housed in deteriorated facilities that cannot provide adequate working conditions. The proposed project is needed to ensure that current and future efforts by I&C are not hampered by building conditions and also to provide adequate space for existing equipment and personnel. This paper includes a description of the proposed action, alternatives to proposed action, a description of the existing environment, the environmental impacts of the proposed action, and a summary.
