This invention relates to deflection structures for cathode ray tubes. It is an object of this invention to provide an improved helical coil deflection structure for a cathode ray tube wherein each turn in the coil is separated from adjacent turns by conductive shielding means which surrounds at least three sides of each turn of the helical coil.
