This environmental impact statement (EIS) analyzes the environmental impacts of the proposed action, which is to continue operation of K-, L-, and P-Reactors at the Savannah River Site (SRS) to produce nuclear materials for United States defense and nondefense programs. The EIS also analyzes alternatives to the proposed action. The US Department of Energy (DOE) prepared this statement to further the purposes of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), as amended.
