Task Force to Conduct a
Feasibility Study of Using the
DOD/DTIC STIP Distance Learning Tool (DLT) Source Code to Develop a DOE
STIP Tool
Description - This Task Force will review the DOD DTIC STIP
Distance Learning Tool (DLT) code to determine if it is feasible to use
in the development of a DOE STIP DLT.
Objective - The objective is to have a clear understanding of
the DTIC STIP DLT code and to determine if it is possible to use it in
the development of the DOE STIP DLT.
Deliverable - This task will result in a deliverable analyzing
the feasibility of using the DTIC STIP DLT code to create a similar DOE
STIP tool. If it is feasible, the deliverable will also include the
commitment of resources needed from the STIP Community to accomplish the
overall task; a timeline for developing the tool; and as appropriate
recommend technical modifications for developing the DOE tool.
Duration - The Task Force will begin reviewing the code in
April 2000. The targeted completion date for the task to be completed is
tbd.
Team Leader - The Team Leader for this Task Force is Nancy
Kenny, Fluor Hanford.
Facilitator - The Task Force facilitator is Kathy Waldrop,
OSTI.
