Most citizens were still only skimming the surface of the Web for their information. So through collaborative efforts with Google and Yahoo!, we've been working to expose our deep Web content to the surface Web.

Our work exposing our content to Yahoo! is complete. All our information is now accessible by Yahoo! The day after our information became accessible via Yahoo!, our web traffic increased by 50%—all this without any announcement, promotion or fanfare about this arrangement. It was simply Yahoo! patrons finding this newly available information and coming to OSTI.
