Title: SOLTES: simulator of large thermal energy systems

Conference ·
OSTI ID:6622959

The philosophy, structure, current capabilities and applications of SOLTES, a computer code that can be used to simulate a wide variety of thermal energy systems such as solar power/total energy, fossil-fired power plants/total energy, nuclear-fired power plants/total energy, solar energy heating and cooling, geothermal energy, and solar hot water, are discussed. SOLTES simulates the steady-state response of thermal energy systems to time-varying data such as weather and loads. (LCL)
