The laws, ordinances, standards, and conditions for designing, constructing, and operating the power plant and related facilities are referenced. In addition, actions, verifications, submittals, and approvals required by the USGS, BLM, and CEC are specified to assure that the facilities are designed, constructed, and operated in compliance with air and water quality, public health and safety, environmental and such other laws, ordinances, and standards specified.
