Hierarchical Porous Structures
- Los Alamos National Lab. (LANL), Los Alamos, NM (United States)
Materials Design is often at the forefront of technological innovation. While there has always been a push to generate increasingly low density materials, such as aero or hydrogels, more recently the idea of bicontinuous structures has gone more into play. This review will cover some of the methods and applications for generating both porous, and hierarchically porous structures.
