Title: National Environmental Policy Act Compliance Strategy for the Remote-Handled Low-level Waste Disposal Facility

Abstract

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) needs to have disposal capability for remote-handled low level waste (LLW) generated at the Idaho National Laboratory (INL) at the time the existing disposal facility is full or must be closed in preparation for final remediation of the INL Subsurface Disposal Area in approximately the year 2017.
