Objective is to improve the lifetime of MCFCs. Doped LiFeO{sub 2} cathodes, Nb-doped CeO{sub 2} anodes, and a new CaCO{sub 3}-Li{sub 2}CO{sub 3}-K{sub 2}CO{sub 3} electrolyte were developed and tested.
