Financing for reuse of environmentally impaired property
- Inst. of Environmental Solutions, Sacramento, CA (United States)
The Cooperative Solution Program (CSP) was designed by the Institute of Environmental Solutions, Inc. (IES) to provide a practical method to remediate certain contaminated sites and to develop these sites or return them to economic productivity. The CSP takes a collaborative, comprehensive approach, creating a public-private partnership involving all of the parties interested in the remediation and development of a contaminated site. The CSP stimulates action by bringing together siteowners, regulators, lenders, insurance carriers, remediation firms, scientific research and development, and public interest groups to negotiate cooperative, risk-shared relationships that lead to completion of an environmentally and economically sound project.
