Stress analysis by thermoelastic techniques; Proceedings of the Meeting, London, England, Feb. 17, 18, 1987
The conference presents papers on the assessment and development of the thermoelastic technique for engineering applications, the thermoelastic constant, the theoretical basis of the use of random excitation signals for thermoelastic stress analysis, and the surface temperature response to cyclic thermoelastic heat generation. Other topics include a spectral analyzer for the thermoelastic and thermoplastic response to low frequency dynamic loads, and the application of the thermoelastic effect to typical aerospace composite materials. Consideration is also given to stress analysis in laminated fiber composites by thermoelastic emission, the application of stress pattern analysis by thermoelastic emission (SPATE) to high-frequency vibration measurement of aeroengine components, and SPATE applications in North America.
