Title: Health assessment for Auburn Road Landfill, Rockingham County, Londonderry, New Hampshire, Region 1. CERCLIS No. NHD980524086. Final report

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:7106335

The Auburn Road Landfill National Priorities List (NPL) site is located in a residential area of the town of Londonderry, New Hampshire. Soils at four areas of the site are heavily contaminated with volatile organic compounds (VOCs), polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), semi-volatile organic compounds (SVOCs), pesticides, and inorganic compounds. Contaminants, including VOCs, PAHs, SVOCs, and inorganics, have migrated to groundwater on-site and off-site. The levels detected in the contaminant plumes render the water unfit for human consumption. The Auburn Road Landfill Site is of potential public health concern because of the potential risk to human health resulting from possible past and future exposures to hazardous substances at concentrations that may result in adverse health effects.
