Nominations for the second annual Industry All Star awards to independent power producers were sought from a number of industry experts, financial analysts, and trade group executives. Nominees were chosen for their ability to motivate a project development team, to anticipate future developments and to respond to the nation's energy needs and environmental concerns. Cogeneration, hydroelectric, wind and waste-to-energy projects are described.
