Cut bullwork in hv-insulator installation

With an insulation and strength capability as good as or better than porcelain-at one-tenth the weight-insulators made of an assembly of copolymer weathersheds on an epoxy-fiberglass center rod are proving to be an effective option in high-voltage line construction. Experience has shown that the high-strength-to-weight, factory-assembled insulators can cut line-construction costs. These Hi-Lite insulators, are also helping to meet many line design and upgrading requirements that might be difficult or prohibitively expensive using traditional insulation systems.
