Radiation protection standards and (issues and concerns)

Today, the public is becoming increasingly aware and concerned about risks associated with exposure to radiation from the nuclear industry. The intent of this discussion is to provide a clarification of factors used to determine radiation exposure risks. Assumptions to determine acceptable risks will also be identified. Issues and concerns surrounding the radiation protection standards and policy will be emphasized.
